Emerald E-Journals Collections (Authorized by the National Library of China)
Emerald Publishing cooperated with the British Library to digitize all the periodicals published by Emerald, including 178 kinds of full-text journals and more than 110,000 full-text pages and involving fields such as accounting, finance and laws, human resource, management science and policy, library and information science and engineering science. All the journals can be dated back to the first issue of the first volume, with the earliest time of 1898. Users can directly acquire the backtracking articles of journals through retrieval. The database can retrace materials as early as the nineteenth century, providing scholars of commercial and management science and social historians with important and meaningful historical materials. This enlarged database will be able to remedy the lack and lost articles of the existing journals and further narrow physical space of the library. Readers can also read articles that have never been electronic before.

Emerald Reading ListAssist—The service is provided by world-famous professors, scholars and their students, who analyze practicability, research and instruction of Emerald’s articles based on surveys and practices and select excellent articles of different subjects and areas that are recommended to read. Each recommended book-list is added with a review article of the editors. At present, it has launched more than 50 recommended book-lists and almost 3, 000 recommended articles, covering more than 20 subject areas, such as accounting and finance, architecture environment, human resource management, strategic management, pedagogy, library and information science and social science.
