April 23, 2015 was the 20th World Reading Day. On that day, Huangdai Branch of Suzhou Library officially opened, which is the 68th Branch of Suzhou Library. The library is located on the First Floor, Huangdai Town Service Center for the Convenience of People, Xiangcheng District. It has an Adult Reading Area, a Children's Reading Area, and a Public Electronic Reading Area. Its collections include over 9 thousand books including over 2 thousand children’s books, 100 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, over 500 audiovisual discs, and 12 computers for readers’ free use. Opening time: closed on the morning of Monday; and open from 13:00 - 16:30 on Monday, and 8:30 - 16:30 from Tuesday to Sunday.
