Last Tuesday, the Year of the Tiger stamps were premiered at Suzhou Library. This is the third time that China has issued the Shengxiao tiger stamps since 1980.

    At the stamp premiere, China Post released a series of fifteen different stamps to meet the need for diversity. Commemorative stamps and the first day cover were also available.

    Local stamp fans hailed the premiere with great enthusiasm. It was a cold Tuesday morning, but hours before the premiere kicked off, nearly 1,000 stamp fans rushed to the venue and waited in long lines.
