“Overseas Chinese Works Database”, the only one database in China, includes Chinese writings lost to overseas in the history of China, as well as the Chinese ancient books copied, collated and published by foreign countries such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam. The database is divided into six categories, including Confucian classics, historical records, philosophical writings, miscellaneous works, classes and new learning. At present, it has collected a total of more than 72,000 volumes of overseas Chinese books and the total amount of data reaches 3T, most of which are color images with clear and beautiful images.It is not only an important literature database for the experts and scholars who study ancient Chinese history and culture , but also an important way for readers who love Chinese cultures to enjoy and understand the ancient Chinese history and culture. The database is divided into two types: simple search and advanced search. Advanced search provides titles, volumes, characters, keywords, country / dynasty, chronology, Christian era, place of publication, publisher, publishing agency, version, brief introduction of content and so on. You can accurately and quickly query the target literature. Among them, “Local Chronicles” album includes a total of more than 1,300 kinds and more than 23,000 volumes, basically covering the local chronicles existing in overseas countries that have been compiled.
