Taiping Culture Creative Industry Park Branch

On July 11, 2016, “Taiping Culture Creative Industry Park Branch” located in the national-level Yangchenghu Digital Culture Creative Industry Park, Xiangcheng District, officially opened, which is the 73rd Branch of Suzhou Library. “Taiping Culture Creative Industry Park” is a new attempt, an innovation on public culture service mode made by Suzhou Library. The library collections highlight the development combining the leisure reading service of public library with the digital technology, and include over 3 thousand books related to literature, art, design research and development, computer science, information service etc., and 60 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, to serve enterprises, creative teams, and designers in the Culture Creative Industry Park, as well as students and residents in surrounding communities. Taking advantage of “You Select Books, and I Pay the Bills” service, the nationally initiative “Online Borrowing Community Delivery” beneficial service which, and the community mini book stores established with Suzhou Xinhua Bookstore, and combining “Coffee Reading”, it established a community reading service center, to provide 7*24, zero-distance, and diversified public reading service for readers. It has an Adult Reading Area, a Children's Reading Area, a Public Electronic Reading Area, and 3 computers to provide free Internet access for readers.  Opening time: 10:00 - 21:00 on Monday to Sunday.
